Display lines in a file after a particular line number

The command will output the lines after a particular line number. The particular line number will also be included. Example: I have a file containing numbers 1 - 9 each in newline. awk 'BEGIN{lineno=3} {if( NR >= lineno) { print }}' gp
awk 'BEGIN{lineno=3} {if( NR >= lineno) { print }}' gp
